long story short, for anyone that hasn’t read my page, I have been a runner for a long time, never have been in MAX 6 pack shape, just average “athletic shape” (have ran since 6th grade, 23 now). Then… all undergrad I kept doing stuff too soon too fast, got some minor injuries, but none that got me out for that long (a month at the longest per injury). This year, however, I just did too much too fast. Came off an injury, was tired of not being where I wanted to be, over trained, over ran, etc. Caused two more injuries, for a total of three… and you know… 4 months later (healing injuries time, because of my stupidity), I was NOT running, really bummed out, and that combination caused me to eat not very well, and thus gain weight. SO. that’s the story behind my fitness journey so far. I just want to get back in shape and not re-injure myself and actually run a marathon! hahaand then, of course, there was the weight gain… and i’ve been feeling pretty frustrated for the past few days because I felt like I wasn’t losing anything. luckily I took pictures along the journey! and  I think this image is a reminder not to kick yourself on a daily basis, but make sure to remember health, fitness, and weight loss is all about TIME! :)so that was the purpose of this image for me and I thought I would share it to remind everyone else on fitblr too :)
